Mumbai to Manipur

I'll be leaving Mumbai for Manipur and I am not sure when will I return. It is a sad feeling that I'll be away from everybody else. All were in a sad mood that I'm going away after such a long time of fun, frolic, laughing, dancing, crying here in Mumbai.

Fancy Dress - dress like any animal

Recently, we had a Fancy Dress where all of us were supposed to dressed like any animal. I tried to do a tiger outfit but due to lack of the same, I went for an Elephant. Well, I was ready for most animal mimicry and Elephant wasn't a problem at all.

My new Friend - Angad

Angad is a 2 year old boy and is my neighbor. We're friends now, we play together, fight together - infact, I'm the one who beat him most of the time and make him cry. He loves to ride my bike, cars and I love to snatch that from him and make him cry. Their parents are good, they took me out to roam around the city. Angad is also a good friend too though he cries a lot all the time.

I had asked Bachou to buy me a bicycle long back and finally he got me one. I have learnt to ride a bicycle on my own. I know, I have the guard-wheels on but it's still cool. I also can have my friends pillion on my bicycle.

Moved to our New House at Orchid Enclave, Mumbai

We finally moved to our new home at Orchid Enclave, Nahar Amrit Shakti, Mumbai. This one is better as they have more playgrounds, swings. Now, I even have my room for the dolls and toys.

Little Doll

Finally, our first year at Porridge Years' comes to an end. I will be continuing for the second year here. For this year, I am the Little Doll of our school and got a certificate for the same.

Fancy Dress at School

Today, our school have Fancy Dress without the competition and I played the role of a Doctor. There were lots of others playing many other roles - house maid, coolie, policeman and many others. Our group's theme was "Social Service" whereas the elders have something like a "Jungle" them and they were cool too.

Outdoor Adventure

I love to play at the bottom of the garden where it's best to hide. Playing with my toy cars and swing. It is really the best thing!

Happy Holi

This is perhaps by first encounter of Holi in a different kind of its own. My earlier 2 years went by and I am sure I am not that grown up enough to understand anything.

I love the colors and I kept playing all evening when Bachou bought the color sets, along with the water pistol and a pump. My mama taught me how to make few shapes and figures with the colors. I have been doing the figure makings and sometimes counting them in my usual broken numbers (I am still skipping 2 and 6 whenever I count from 1 to 10).

I am told that in Manipur, we have the tradition of elders blessing the kids and children with money during the auspicious days of Holi. Unfortunately, I have no Manipuri neighbors/locality here to collect money from! I have to limit my Nakadheng from Mama, Papa, Bachou and Kaka Benao.

Malamal Weekly on big TV

We all went to see Malamal Weekly, a funny movie on the big TV at Fun Republic. I slept through the major portion of the movie. ;-)

Harry Potter

Recently, I have been watching Harry Potter again and again and I am in love with this movies. So far I have seen all the released versions - Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban and Goblet of Fire. I can re-watch them again and again.

Back to School, the Porridge Years

By now, I am as fit as a fiddle and started school again. My first school was at a local playgroup somewhere in Manipur (INDIA) where we all just gather to sing and play. Here in Mumbai, I went to another school, The Porridge Years. Well, here too, they make us sing, dance and play. Oh! they make us wear uniforms, the teacher usually pin-points me with "Arre Nishita" whenever I do some mischief. Right now, I don't really like school as much as I like home.

I got painful Needle Shots

As a fallout of my illness, I got coupla painful shots and another terrifying x-ray where I have to remove my shirts. Though the x-ray was painless, I was horrified-terrified as it was done after those painful shots. I am off from the play-school for the past 3 days, I don't like it anyway. I can still remember my teacher say, "Arre Nishita!" for all my funny doings. I don't understand half, even most part at times, of their speeches which are more hindi-like.

I am sick since yesterday

This is very strange for me! The feeling of not playing around, of not making shapes with my play-doe (or clay-doe), of not bothering uncle and aunties to put my movies on their TV and of of not playing Annie all day on my small cute Micky Mouse Head Shaped DVD player. I am lying on bed all the time since yesterday, I even puked all over. I am not in a mood even to eat my favorite Jelly-Fruity-Thingy and chips.

Early morning, Bachou took an appointment with Dr. Aspi J. Irani, somewhere in Lokhanwala, Andheri (W) and the doctor have advised lotta test to be taken, urine, blood and even an x-ray.

I don't like to fall sick. I like to play, play and play, swing at the Society's Backyard, go to Hiranandini Kid's park and ride my favorite aeroplane and train ride. Even better just sleep inside the car listening to "It's the time to Disco" and "Just Chill", roaming around Mumbai's unknown pockets.

First Movie Experience at a Theatre

I have my first Movie experience at a Theatre today, Sunday the 8th January, 2006. The Oinam family went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at the IMAX Dome at Wadala, Mumbai (INDIA).

Blossom Society Grand Uncle

I don't know his name yet but he is a sweet old grand uncle who comes almost everyday just to give me flowers. He might have seen me somewhere in September, 2005 when we moved in to Blossom Society, Andheri (E). It all started when he once visited me and gave me flowers. He still visits me almost everyday, talks to me and gives me flowers. He usually ask me to smile and I giggles with my teeth out in front for him to see. He even gave me a birthday present on my second birthday.
